We are seeking a commercial or industrial Electronic Security Technician to join our federal team supporting the Aberdeen Proving Grounds, MD.

Location : Aberdeen Proving Grounds, MD. All work is based at this location. No additional travel is required.

Target Pay Range : Negotiable based on experience.

Shift : First shift, Monday-Friday, 7 : 30am-3 : 30pm.

Benefits : Eligible for benefits on first day of employment

Vacation : 3 weeks of paid vacation, 3 floating holidays, 5 sick days, and 10 standard holidays per calendar year (6.5 weeks in total)

As a Security Installation Technician, you will :

• Install Electronic Security Systems (ESS) and infrastructure in accordance with the national electric code, to include, but not limited to, access controls, intrusion detection, and camera systems. Specific systems include, but not limited to : Lenel Onguard, DMP, Milestone, and ICIDS (Integrated Commercial Intrusion Detection System)
• Assists with security system programming and setup.
• Conducts testing to ensure proper operation of equipment after installation or repairs
• Conducts testing of system to the signal-receiving center to properly establish service.
• Coordinates installations with police / fire departments and handles necessary records for notification of emergency calls.
• May help prepare estimates in accordance with prescribed instructions or directions from supervisor
• Conduct End-User training.
• Works safely and responsibly to avoid injuries, damage to property, loss of unused materials and cleans up installation debris.
• Performs other duties as required
