As a Airport Law Enforcement Officer - Armed Patrol in Lanai City, HI , you will serve and safeguard the airport, its facilities, its travelers, and airport operations. You will interact with the public, provide outstanding customer service, and communicate clearly while upholding our values of teamwork, integrity, and putting people first. Position Type : Part Time - Afternoon Shift
Pay Rate : $28.86 / Hour with an hourly bonus of $3.58. Premium paid shall be based on the position actually worked by the employee.

Each LEO will possess the following minimum qualifications (NO EXCEPTIONS) :
To be considered, all applicants must meet the following criteria :
2+ years of professional law enforcement experience in the U.S. after graduating from a certified law enforcement academy (Federal, State, or County level)
Pre-Employment Requirements :
Graduate of Law Enforcement or Military Police Training Program or Equivalent (must provide credentials upon applying)Valid Driver's LicenseLaw Enforcement Officer License22+ years of ageBasic Qualifications : The basic qualifications listed below are representative of the relevant knowledge, skills, and / or experience required in order to be hired. These are requirements that we have determined are the minimum a candidate must have in order to be successful in this role.
Formal Education, Licenses, and Certifications Required :
Applicant must complete one of the following approved programs :
1. Certified State law enforcement recruit training.2. Certified County law enforcement recruit training.3. Federal law enforcement training.4. Programs approved by the Director.5. Each LEO will possess the following minimum qualifications :No felony convictions or convictions for abuse of a household member under Lautenberg Amendment to the Gun Control Act of 1968 (18 U.S.C.
922(g)(9)) or documented truthfulness infractions in violation of Giglio / Henthorn for federal impeachment proceedings (referring to the decisions in Giglio v. United States, 405 U.S. 105 (1972) and United States v. Henthorn, 931 F. 2d 29 (9th Cir. 1991)).A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions.Knowledge and Skills Required :
Must be able to supervise Contractor's personnel and work effectively with airport management, tenants, other law enforcement agencies and the public on matters relating to security disputes, complaints on the performance, conduct or behavior of subordinate employees.Other related attributes that would enahnce hiring consideration : These are other criteria that may enhance the hiring decision but would not rule out the candidate for consideration if not present.
Shall have no record of moral turpitude, domestic violence, untruthfulness, or mental or emotional disorders which may interfere with performance of duties.Responsibilities :
Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.Ability to exercise sound judgement and render immediate, appropriate decisions, under stressful conditions.Maturity in conduct behavior and attitude.Ability to take orders, follow instructions, accept and assume responsibility for one's actions.Alertness, attentiveness, and professional conduct. Ability to recognize, respond and take appropriate and corrective actions to various situations.Strong moral character. Must possess high standards and be truthful.Ability to effectively communicate, verbally and in writing in English.Courtesy in inter-person relationships with the public, airport employees, tenants, law enforcement and security personnel.LEOs may be required to provide a court appearance for citations that are issued on behalf of DOTA. Contractor shall provide replacement staffing for LEOs that are required to attend a court proceeding.What We're Looking For :

Have at least 2 years of experience in law enforcement, military police, or corrections.Be a graduate of a law enforcement or military police training program or possess an equivalent qualification.Possess an armed guard card or license as required by applicable laws and regulations.A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.Be at least 22 years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Participate in industry-specific security-related training programs.Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.Why Join Us :
