About The Position

Experience : Minimum of 2 years in Medical-Surgical / Telemetry required

License : Active nursing license

Certifications : ACLS, BLS required (BLS must be AHA); CPI preferred

Must-Have :

• Strong community hospital or critical access experience
• Ability to think independently and manage the floor autonomously
• Telemetry skills and IV pump experience required
• Experience with a medication administration system and documentation system
• Prior charge experience and travel experience required
• Experience with a patient ratio of 1 : 5

Description :

Seeking a seasoned registered nurse for a Medical-Surgical / Telemetry unit.

Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.

The nurse will be expected to run the floor independently during shifts.

ACLS and BLS certifications are mandatory, with BLS from AHA recognized sources.

CPI certification is preferred, but not required.

Experience in telemetry and IV pump operation is necessary.

The role includes being on call as required.

No local candidates within 50 miles will be considered.

The patient ratio will be 1 : 5 during shifts.

Travelers are not permitted to have more than one DUI on record.

Blocked scheduling will not be accommodated.

The facility supports various interdisciplinary services, including physical therapy and respiratory services.

Daily census will be between 3 to 5 patients.

Candidates should be prepared to adapt to patient care needs in a community hospital setting.
