About The Position

Job Title : X-Ray / CT Tech

Hours per Shift : 7 AM - 7 PM, Friday, Saturday, Sunday

Experience : Minimum 1 year of experience required

License : WI license

Certifications : ARRT, BLS

Must-Have :

• Independent in X-ray and CT
• Comfortable with Siemens equipment
• Previous travel experience preferred

Description :

Housing : Candidates must consider housing options in the area.

Department : X-ray / CT Tech, General Imaging.

Certification Requirements : BLS and WI license, ARRT X-ray / CT preferred.

Equipment : 1 main CT scanner, 1 backup CT scanner, 2 general X-ray rooms, and 4 C-arms in the OR.

Floating : C-arm coverage is typically provided in the ORs.

Imaging : Common types of imaging include general X-ray and CT services.

Workload : Daily scan volume varies; could be 5 one day and 40 the next.

Annual Exams : Approximately 25,000-26,000 exams per year, including 7,000 CT scans.

EMR and PACS : Uses PACS by Philips and EMR by EPIC.

Department Supervision : Radiology Supervisor or Lead Tech is the Director of the Department.

Lead Roles : Lead in CT, no lead in X-ray.

IV Starts : Candidates must be able to start IVs.

Schedule : Scheduling is managed by the Director in 6-week blocks.

Weekend Requirements : Weekend work is expected; flexibility is necessary.

Holiday Requirements : Filling in on holidays when needed is required.

On-Call : No on-call requirements.

Dress Code : No specific color is mandated for scrubs.

Orientation : Training for travelers occurs during the first week with staff.

Cancellation Policy : None listed.

Charting System : EPIC.

Trauma Level : CAH.

Care Setting : Acute.
