The primary end markets are communications and information processing, aerospace, automotive, rail and industrial applications.

Position : Mechanical Integrity Engineer – Mezzanine Connector team in Valley Green, PA.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development of new products through mechanical testing, data analysis, and design qualification.
• Develop test sequences and procedures to determine long-term reliability of electrical connectors.
• Process and analyze testing results, and create reports and presentations for internal and external customers.
• Support product design efforts in mechanical analysis such as tolerance analysis, FEA, materials analysis, failure analysis, and creating test plans.
• Prepare test samples, test requests, design and fabricate test fixtures, interface with test lab technicians.
• Collaborate with internal and external suppliers, manufacturing personnel, and beta-site customers to validate product prototypes through pilot production.
