As a Superintendent on the US Project , you'll play a key role in driving the success of critical construction efforts. Your ability to plan, coordinate, and lead teams will ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and to specification.
Work alongside dedicated professionals and skilled teams to ensure every aspect of the project aligns with contract drawings and technical requirements.
Key Responsibilities :
- Plan work methods, resource needs, and scheduling for assigned scopes. Review daily activities with direct reports and adjust weekly plans based on field input.
- Interpret project specifications to support setup and execution. Coordinate with crews, field engineers, and utility providers to identify and manage on-site hazards.
- Work with internal and external partners to ensure proper equipment and material availability, supporting on-time and on-budget project delivery.
- Monitor project schedules to identify potential delays and recommend solutions to maintain productivity and progress.
- Provide technical input to address and resolve construction challenges, focusing on methods, materials, safety, and scheduling. Maintain accurate documentation of daily activities and meetings.
- Promote and enforce rigorous safety practices across all work areas. Identify training needs and recommend additional instruction as required.
- Oversee subcontractor work and personnel, suggesting adjustments to schedules or work methods as needed to meet performance goals.
Qualifications :
8+ years of experience in heavy civil construction5+ years in a construction management roleBachelor’s degree is a plusSafety Trained Supervisor (STS) certification preferredValid driver’s licenseStrong written and verbal communication skillsAdvanced knowledge of construction equipment operations and maintenanceDeep understanding of job site safety protocols with proven enforcement experienceFamiliarity with local union agreements or prevailing wage requirements (if applicable)Ability to interpret technical drawings, plans, and specificationsSolid mathematical skills, including geometry, ratios, and applied calculationsWhat’s Offered :
