Job Description

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A dynamic opportunity is available for a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to serve K-12 students in a school setting located in Portales, NM. This contract position spans the entire school year and requires a dedicated professional with a strong commitment to supporting student communication and language development.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Provide comprehensive speech and language assessments and individualized therapy for students from kindergarten through 12th grade.
  • Develop and implement IEP goals in collaboration with educators, parents, and other professionals.
  • Maintain detailed documentation and progress reports in accordance with state and district guidelines.
  • Participate actively in multidisciplinary team meetings to ensure a holistic approach to student care.

Qualifications :

  • Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology, completion of CFY, or valid SLP-School licensure.
  • Must hold a New Mexico state license and Department of Education certification in Speech Pathology.
  • Experience working with the K-12 student population in a school environment.
  • Ability to work onsite for 35 hours per week throughout the school year.
