Shift : 12-hour days (7 : 00 AM – 7 : 00 PM), rotating evening and weekend call

Employment Type : Travel nursing contract, on-site position

Registered Nurse Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license – Indiana or compact state

BLS & ACLS certifications required

Minimum 1 year of recent Operating Room RN experience

Clinical experience with Ortho, Neuro, Cysto, General, and Trauma cases

TNCC certification preferred

Strong communication skills; calm and adaptable personality

OR RN Responsibilities

Deliver skilled nursing care to patients undergoing surgical procedures in a busy operating room environment

Participate in rotating evening calls (1-2 per week, 7 : 00 PM – 7 : 00 AM) and 24-hour weekend calls (2-3 per schedule)

Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary surgical team including charge nurses, CSTs, CFAs, and orderlies

Assist with a range of procedures : Orthopedic, General, Cardio-thoracic, Podiatry, GYN, Neuro, Vascular, and Plastics

Maintain accurate patient documentation using Meditech EMR

Follow hospital policies and dress code (OR scrubs provided)
