About The Position

Job Title : CT Scan Tech

Profession : Radiology / Cardiology

Duration : 13 weeks

Shift : Day 3x12-Hour

Hours per Shift : 12 hours (07 : 00 - 19 : 30)

Experience : Minimum of 1 year preferred; 6 months Level 1 Trauma experience required

License : Must have state license in hand

Certifications : BLS, ARRT RT (R), SCRQSA (R) (CT)

Must-Have :

• Siemens experience
• Level 1 Trauma experience

Description :

Agency must supply radiation badge.

The position requires a CT Scan Tech who will work three 12-hour shifts.

Shifts will be on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 07 : 00 AM to 07 : 30 PM.

There will be an on-call rotation with staff.

Clinicians may float within their scope to meet facility needs.

First-time travelers are accepted if they have the required experience.

Experience with Level 1 Trauma and comprehensive stroke centers is a must.

Duties include a variety of scans such as abdomen, chest, pelvis, and vascular studies.

The candidate should be skilled in 3D rendering and preparation / administration of contrast media.

Clienttion safety protocols must be followed.

The working environment will include both routine studies and outpatient procedures.

Daily caseload may vary based on shift and location.

Travelers may be assigned to emergency response teams during hurricane season.

All time-off requests must be included at the time of submission.

Proper orientation and module completion is necessary before starting.

Candidates must not have time off that prevents timely compliance prior to the start date.
