About The Position

License : Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) preferred

Certifications : BLS, ACLS, COVID vaccine card showing fully completed COVID series

Description :

The Cardiovascular Technologist will primarily work day shifts with some late night and on-call requirements based on unit needs.

This role involves preparing the procedure room and sterile field for procedures, including the setup of sterile supplies, instruments, and equipment.

The technologist must be able to anticipate the necessary equipment during procedures and operate it while maintaining sterile conditions.

They will function in multiple roles on the procedure team, including scrub, circulator, and documenter / monitor.

Good organizational skills are essential for success in this role.

The position requires experience in Right Heart and Left Heart Hemodynamics, Cardiac Interventions, and various vascular interventions.

Mechanical Circulatory Support experience is required, including ECMO, Impella, IABP, and ProtekDuo.

Familiarity with Structural Heart procedures such as TAVR, MitraClip, and Valvuloplasty is necessary.

Critical care or cardiac experience is also a requirement.

Candidates must be a Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) through CCI or ARRT.
