LocumJobsOnline is working with SUMO Medical Staffing to find a qualified Geriatrics NP in Fairbanks, Alaska, 99701!

About The Position

Sumo Medical Staffing is recruiting an experienced Internal Medicine / Family Care / Geriatric NP Locum to work coverage in Fairbanks, Alaska. Three-Months 2026 - Length of Assignment : January-March, or as soon as credentialed. Ask if you are a Locum considering a Permanent roll-over.

The Internal / Family Care / Geriatric NP Role(s) :

Schedule : Monday -Friday, 8 hours daily
Shifts : 7a-4p; 8a-5p
Setting : Family Medicine / Internal Medicine / Wound Care
Prescriptive Authority : Schedule II Medications

Scope : Transfers - Denali Center

Short-term patients requiring IV antibiotic therapy, and PT rehab

Long-term patients : ages – young adults with severe traumatic brain injuries to moderately complex chronic cases, and dementia patients.

Supports Physician with 45 direct-patient caseloads (20-hours per week)

Hospice related services

Overall census : 60-70 patients

Requirements of the Internal / Family Care / Geriatric NP role :

AK state license; active, unrestricted.

Board certified.

Certifications – BLS an / or ACLS

COVID vaccination.

2-years of clinical experience

CV education and work history in MM / YYYY format
