LocumJobsOnline is working with AAS Locum Tenens to find a qualified Other MD in Boston, Massachusetts, 02111!

About The Position

We are a premier,

well-established Urgent Care network with five locations north of Boston,

dedicated to providing high-quality, efficient, and patient-centered care to

our communities. We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Medical Director to

join our leadership team. This full-time role includes both clinical practice

and administrative oversight to support quality care delivery, provider

development, and operational excellence.

Position Overview :

  • Schedule : 5 days / week

3 days clinical (direct

patient care)

2 days administrative

(leadership, quality, governance, operations)

Compensation : $240,000+

annually, commensurate with experience

Key Responsibilities :

Provide clinical leadership

across all urgent care locations

Deliver high-quality patient

care in a fast-paced environment

Oversee clinical protocols,

policies, and quality assurance programs

Collaborate with executive

leadership on operational strategy and workflow improvement

Serve as a mentor and

resource to providers, ensuring clinical excellence and teamwork

Participate in hiring,

onboarding, credentialing, and ongoing provider education

Ensure compliance with state

and federal regulatory standards and best practices

Maintain a positive,

patient-focused culture aligned with organizational values

Requirements :

MD or DO from an accredited

medical school

Board Certified in Emergency

Medicine, Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Urgent Care specialty

Active Massachusetts Medical

License (or ability to obtain)

Minimum 3+ years of Urgent

Care or Emergency Medicine experience

Prior leadership or

management experience preferred

Strong communication,

interpersonal, and team-building skills

Commitment to high-quality,

evidence-based care and operational efficiency
