2026 Summer Internship Program

Are you ready to turn your classroom knowledge into real-world experience? Do you enjoy collaborating with others and working as part of a team? If so, the Federal Home Loan Bank of Indianapolis (FHLBank) invites you to apply for our 2026 Summer Internship Program!

We're looking for well-rounded, motivated students to join us for a 10-week paid internship where you'll gain hands-on experience, build your professional network, and develop valuable skills in a dynamic business environment.

What You'll Experience

As a Community Investment intern at FHLBank, you'll :

• Collaborate with department managers to support various cross-functional projects.
• Conduct data analysis for multi-state needs assessments.
• Perform data mining and reporting for the AHP (Affordable Housing Program) project.
• Assist the CID department with outreach and marketing initiatives.
• Support additional departmental tasks and responsibilities as assigned.
• Apply strong problem-solving and communication skills to collaborate across teams and present analytical results effectively.
• Contribute to meaningful projects that align with your field of study.
• Gain exposure to the finance and banking industry.
• Participate in team-building activities, a group project, a community service event, and professional development sessions (including dining etiquette!).
