Connexion Systems & Engineering, a Boston based IT and Engineering Solutions Company immediately seeks individuals with the following skills : Job# 10278 Consulting Engineer - Professional Services Group Description : The Project Engineer will assist the Project Manager in delivering the design, construction, commissioning, and site activities to start-up of a new manufacturing site. Roles & Responsibility : Verify work in place and that inspection procedures are being completed. Filing and tracking permits, utility approvals and public notices. Track schedule progress and order schedule updates; verify workarounds are on track. Track owner’s procurement progress and coordinate equipment arrivals with construction teams. Update project risk register. Process requests for information and assure timely responses are provided. Track field progress and update bi-weekly progress curves. Issue monthly quality reports. Manage engineering turnover information. Coordinate Site Acceptance Testing and other commissioning activities with operation personnel for training. Provide project closeout and turnover scope to have a seamless delivery of the manufacturing capacity Organizational Relationships : The Project Engineer will interact with internal and external project team members, and with Operational Readiness team. The successful candidate will also need to work closely engineering, consultants, contractors, equipment vendors and validation resources Qualifications : Minimum of 5 years of experience delivering large scale capital projects for pharmaceutical manufacturing facilities. Experience managing field information, schedule updates, construction quality systems, commissioning and systems turnover. Experience participating on a cross functional construction team. Bachelor of Science in Engineering Strong organizational skills and strong information document control organizational skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. CPM scheduling skills.
