We're looking for a seasoned financial professional to join our senior management team and help guide the Division's mission to support Alaskan borrowers through responsible, transparent, and effective loan fund management. This position directly oversees three sections and a team of eleven, including six direct reports, and plays a vital role in ensuring the financial health and integrity of loan programs that impact individuals and communities across the state.

The mission of the Division of Investments team is to administer and service loan programs under the Department of Commerce, Community and Economic Development. These programs were primarily designed to promote economic development through direct state lending in industries and areas of the state that are not adequately serviced by the private sector.

The working conditions you can expect :
As this is an on-site position and not eligible for telework, you will be working in our headquarters office located on the 9th floor of the State Office Building in beautiful downtown Juneau, Alaska. You will enjoy a collaborative atmosphere in a fully resourced and modern office space, with splendid views of Mount Juneau and the Gastineau Channel.
The 9th floor has a fully equipped and spacious break room, that you will have full access to, as well as easy access to various restaurants and coffee shops downtown.
