On-Call Requirements : Up to 2 overnights per week and 4 weekends per 13-week contract

Average Caseload : 35–50 cases per day

Turnover Expectation : Less than 20 minutes

Special Equipment : 3 DaVinci robots; Stealth technology for Neuro navigation; Synthes or Stryker for ortho trauma (few ortho joints)

Number of Suites : 16 ORs (12–14 run routinely)

Trauma Level : Level 1 trauma center (space reserved for traumas)

Service Lines : Cardiac / PV, Neuro, Ortho (primarily trauma), Robotics, GYN, URO, General, Pediatrics, Transplants, limited ENT & Plastics

Scrub or Circulate : Both preferred

Weekend Call : From end of shift Friday until 0630 AM Monday

Float Requirement : Traveler will be required to float across all campuses — Iowa Methodist MC, Iowa Lutheran, and Iowa Methodist

3+ years of current OR experience in a hospital / medical center (outpatient experience not accepted)
