American Traveler is seeking a travel nurse RN ED - Emergency Department for a travel nursing job in Conroe, Texas.

Job Description\n

American Traveler seeks an experienced RN for an Emergency Department position working night shifts in Texas with active TX or compact RN license and at least one year of recent ED experience.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

  • Hospital-based Emergency Department setting
  • Patient population consists of a broad range of emergency care patients
  • Night shift schedule from 7 : 00 PM to 7 : 00 AM
  • 13-week travel contract
  • Must submit US Social Security Number and date of birth for consideration
  • Certifications must not expire within the first 30 days of assignment
  • First-time travelers are eligible for this assignment

    • \n \n Requirements\n

  • Active TX or compact RN license required at the time of consideration
  • Minimum one year of recent experience in Emergency Department nursing
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications accepted from AHA or ARC
  • Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) certification required; SAMA, MAB, or other equivalent certifications may be accepted based on facility requirements
  • No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
