Med / Surg Tele RN Job Details Location : Yuma, Arizona (85364) - Arizona nursing jobs Assignment Type : Travel Registered Nurse Unit : 2 West - Medical Surgical Telemetry Start Date : December 1, 2025 (no flexible start dates) End Date : March 2, 2026 Contract Duration : 13 weeks Shift : 12-hour days (6 : 45 AM - 7 : 15 PM) Hours per Week : 36 guaranteed Weekend Requirement : Every other weekend Holiday Requirement : 2 out of 3 holidays typically required Charting System : Epic EMR Scrub Color : Navy Blue Estimated Weekly Salary Range : $1990 - $2130 Registered Nurse Qualifications Active RN license (Arizona or compact state) - Registered Nurse jobs in Arizona Minimum 2 years of RN experience, including at least 1 year in Med / Surg Telemetry Recent experience in a Level I or II Trauma hospital Current BLS certification (ACLS preferred) Proficiency with Epic electronic medical records (EMR) Ability to float to Med / Surg, low acuity ICU, RDU, and Foothills clinic RDU as needed Must comply with 100-mile radius rule No more than 5 days of requested time off (RTO) during assignment Med / Surg Tele RN Responsibilities Provide high-quality nursing care to patients with diverse medical diagnoses, including pneumonia, COPD, acute kidney injury, and post-surgical cases Manage nurse-to-patient ratios of 1 : 5-6 on days and 1 : 6 on nights Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team, including charge nurses, PCAs, and monitor techs Administer medications and manage non-titrated drips (heparin, lasix) Utilize respiratory therapy equipment such as BiPAP and care for stable tracheostomy patients Document patient care accurately using Epic EMR Participate in unit orientation and ongoing clinical education Float to designated units as needed to support patient care across the hospital Ready to take the next step in your nursing career?
