Job description

Workers Comp Experts Physical Therapy & Rehab, LLC is seeking a Physiatrist (PM&R)

Schedule : 8 Hours per week (once a week)

Location : Miami Lakes, FL (on-site)

Our practice specializes in providing medical care, physical therapy, and rehabilitation services for patients with work-related injuries, slip and fall incidents, and automobile accidents. Our expertise includes treating USPS federal employees, and other federal employees under the Federal Employees' Compensation Act (FECA), and non-federal workers with job-related injuries. We are highly experienced in managing Workers' Compensation claims from inception to end, including those filed with the U.S. Department of Labor's Office of Workers' Compensation Programs (OWCP).

We are an outpatient clinic committed to providing exceptional, one-on-one, and personalized patient care.   • Responsibilities :
  • The ideal candidate will be responsible for diagnosing and treating musculoskeletal conditions, including surgical and non-surgical interventions.
  • Review patient medical history, conducting physical examinations, and ordering diagnostic tests such as MRIs or X-rays.
  • Examine, Diagnose and treat diseases and injuries of the musculoskeletal system, Including bones, joints, ligaments, tendons, muscles, and nerves. Back and spine issues. Fractures and trauma. Overuse injuries. Hand and upper extremities. Lower extremities.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for physical therapy, rehabilitation, and which may involve medication, injections, or surgery.
  • Conduct follow-up visits to monitor physical therapy progress and determine further or alternative treatment.
  • Provide patient education to promote long-term health and recovery.
  • Provide post-operative care to promote long-term health and recovery.
  • Requirements :
  • Board Certified
  • Valid Medical License
  • Strong clinical skills
  • Excellent communication and patient-care abilities
