We’re seeking a talented and experienced Healthcare-Focused Superintendent to join our team and help lead complex, fast-paced projects with excellence.

Position Overview

As a Superintendent , you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations on healthcare construction sites, ensuring projects are delivered on time , within budget , and to the highest quality and safety standards . This role is ideal for someone who has deep experience in healthcare construction (occupied or ground-up hospital, clinic, MOB, ASC, etc.), a strong field presence, and a solutions-oriented mindset.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee and coordinate all field activities on assigned healthcare construction projects
  • Ensure strict adherence to healthcare compliance protocols and infection control requirements
  • Manage subcontractors, schedules, site logistics, inspections, and safety compliance
  • Lead daily jobsite meetings and coordination efforts with project team and owners
  • Communicate effectively with project managers, clients, architects, and engineers
  • Maintain project documentation, RFIs, daily reports, and schedules
  • Foster a culture of safety, quality, and accountability on the job site

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of superintendent experience , preferably in commercial and healthcare construction
  • Proven experience delivering healthcare projects , including work in active / occupied facilities
  • Strong knowledge of construction practices, codes, regulations, and healthcare-specific protocols
  • Ability to manage multiple trades and maintain tight project schedules
  • Proficient in reading plans, scheduling software (e.g., Microsoft Project or Primavera), and daily reporting tools
  • OSHA 30 certification (or willingness to obtain)
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Willingness to work in the Raleigh-Durham area and occasionally travel to project sites in the region
