We’re seeking a talented and experienced Healthcare-Focused Superintendent to join our team and help lead complex, fast-paced projects with excellence.
Position Overview
As a Superintendent , you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations on healthcare construction sites, ensuring projects are delivered on time , within budget , and to the highest quality and safety standards . This role is ideal for someone who has deep experience in healthcare construction (occupied or ground-up hospital, clinic, MOB, ASC, etc.), a strong field presence, and a solutions-oriented mindset.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and coordinate all field activities on assigned healthcare construction projects
- Ensure strict adherence to healthcare compliance protocols and infection control requirements
- Manage subcontractors, schedules, site logistics, inspections, and safety compliance
- Lead daily jobsite meetings and coordination efforts with project team and owners
- Communicate effectively with project managers, clients, architects, and engineers
- Maintain project documentation, RFIs, daily reports, and schedules
- Foster a culture of safety, quality, and accountability on the job site
Qualifications
3+ years of superintendent experience , preferably in commercial and healthcare constructionProven experience delivering healthcare projects , including work in active / occupied facilitiesStrong knowledge of construction practices, codes, regulations, and healthcare-specific protocolsAbility to manage multiple trades and maintain tight project schedulesProficient in reading plans, scheduling software (e.g., Microsoft Project or Primavera), and daily reporting toolsOSHA 30 certification (or willingness to obtain)Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skillsWillingness to work in the Raleigh-Durham area and occasionally travel to project sites in the regionWhy Join Us?
