IU Health Southern Indiana Physicians , part of the largest and most comprehensive healthcare system in Indiana, is seeking a Non-Invasive / General Cardiologist to join a well-established and collegial team of 12 Physicians and 12 advanced providers. Practice medicine in a university community within a diverse cultural environment, located in beautiful Bloomington, Indiana ! Participate in teaching opportunities with medical students and residents, if desired. Experience in reading CTA and / or MRI is preferred but not required.

Position Highlights :

• Full-Time; Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm (with 1 day off every other week)
• 20% inpatient and 80% outpatient
• Weekday call; 1 : 6 and Weekend call is 1 : 5
• Robust volume of Nuclear and TEE imaging with room to grow the CT and MRI programs
• Clinical outpatient (only) outreach to other location(s) 1 day per week

The new IU Health Bloomington Hospital and Regional Academic Health Center opened in December 2021. The facility offers a personalized approach to inpatient services (including intensive care, complex surgeries and comprehensive obstetrics and gynecology services), outpatient services with leading-edge diagnostic testing, flexible space in the emergency department for post-care observation, a dedicated trauma center and a cancer infusion center.

At the same time, the facility strengthens healthcare education by providing space for collaboration and coordination of care and teaching. Students and trainees frequently come to the hospital side of the facility for clinical experiences.
