Salary : 15.00 / Hour

Position Objective :

Maintain the overall cleanliness and upkeep of the assigned facilities including offices, classrooms, restrooms, and retail stores. This includes the outside and common areas. Assist with moving equipment, fixtures, and product. Assist with special projects as assigned.

Essential Duties :

Assist with all work related to the maintenance of plant, property and equipment according to need. Including but not limited to HVAC, plumbing, electrical, custodial, painting, floor care, grounds keeping, snow removal and security system.

Assist with the cleanliness of the premises, including but not limited to; floor care, restrooms, common areas, kitchen, private offices (upon request), store, classrooms, and the outside and common areas.

Keep work area neat, clean, and safe.

Complies with all safety and security policies as directed.

Other duties assigned by Goodwill

Essential Skills :

Alignment with Mission, Culture, and continuous improvement

Ability to demonstrate culture of safety philosophy with strong knowledge of OSHA requirements.

Strong sense of urgency.

Basic understanding of mechanical systems such as electrical, HVAC, and plumbing is helpful.

Basic digital literacy

Education :

Basic reading, math, and counting.

Work Environment :

Retail environment with fluorescent lighting and climate-controlled temperature. Occasional exposure to dust, lint, and other irritants generated by the sorting and handling of donated goods. Occasional exposure to outdoor weather conditions. Infrequent nontraditional (nights and weekends) hours. Some instances of short deadlines and fast paced situations or demands.
