We are seeking a qualified physician to provide short-term coverage for a two-day period. This temporary, locum tenens position offers the chance to experience a fast-paced environment and contribute your skills to a busy healthcare system.

  • Short-Term Coverage with Flexible Scheduling : We require a qualified emergency medicine physician to fill a specific need for a 12-hour shift on August 31st (7 : 00 am - 7 : 00 pm) and another 12-hour shift on September 1st (7 : 00 pm - 7 : 00 am). This locum tenens position provides a flexible schedule ideal for those seeking a short-term commitment.
  • Focus on Emergency Department Care : This position focuses exclusively on emergency department care, providing you with the opportunity to utilize your skills in a fast-paced environment with minimal administrative duties.
  • Supportive Work Environment : You'll collaborate with experienced mid-level providers in a supportive environment. We offer temporary housing and capped travel reimbursements to facilitate your short-term stay.

Key Qualifications :

  • Licensed to practice medicine in North Carolina (active license required)
  • Board-eligible in emergency medicine
  • Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, PALS, and ATLS
  • Experience using MediTech EMR system (preferred)
  • Must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19
  • NC Medicaid / Medicare credentialing and PECOS enrollment (preferred)
  • DEA license with NC address

    • Additional Information :

  • Admissions and rounding are not required for this short-term, emergency department focused role.
  • New hires will require a separate 4-hour orientation scheduled during regular business hours.
