Well renowned Pediatric Private Practice is seeking a passionate, creative minded and experienced professional to join our team of speech and occupational therapists.
Our OT team is comprised of 7 other treating therapists as well as a Director of Occupational Therapy who provides mentorship as well as oversight.
Candidates should have experience working with children ranging from toddler to young adults.
Case load includes a wide range of pediatric issues including sensory integration, ASDs and behavioral issues in addition to fine, gross and visual motor concerns.
Experience evaluating motor and sensory integration deficits a plus.
Facility features 5 sensory gyms in addition to 4 speech treatment rooms.
Responsibilities and Duties
Candidate will be responsible for treating clients on a 1:1 basis; maintaining daily, electronic session notes; drafting semi annual formal progress reportage; collaborating with other members of the clients' treatment team which may include other therapists, doctors, teachers and most importantly, parents; training parents as to how to carry over the work done in session at home.
Qualifications and Skills
Candidate should have experience with the pediatric population.
A minimum of 2 years of post-graduate professional experience is preferred and salary is based upon experience.
Sensory Integration experience a plus, though training in this area will be provided.
