Job description

1st Shift Sit-Down Forklift General Labor / Cement Block Stacker

Pridestaff is currently seeking a 1st Shift Sit-Down Forklift General Labor / Cement Block Stacker for an open bay manufacturing company located in Riverside, CA. This is a full-time, contract to permanent position with opportunity to grow. Please see job requirements below to be considered.

Pay Rate : $17.50- $18

Shift : Monday Friday, 8 : 30am to 5 : 00pm (overtime required)

Job Summary :

This a General Labor position in an open bay manufacturing facility that produces masonry and concrete building materials.

Essential Functions :

  • Sit-Down Forklift Operator
  • Shovel Gravel
  • Stack or move masonry products such as pavers, cinder blocks, or concrete blocks.
  • Sweep or Yard Clean-up.
  • Sit-down Forklift

Minimum qualifications :

  • Must have at least 6 months experience in a construction or manufacturing environment.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50lbs continuously.
  • Must be able to stand, walk, lift, and pull throughout the shift.
  • Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job.
  • Must have and wear steel toe shoes throughout shift as well as wear assigned PPE (Hard hat, safety glasses, etc.)
  • Must be willing to submit to an oral drug test prior to start.
  • Must be willing to join Union and get hired after 30 days.
