Duration : 13 weeks

Shift : 8-hour days, variable schedule (3 : 00a–11 : 30a)

Hours : 40 guaranteed / week

Description :

A hospital in Atlanta, GA is seeking an experienced Travel Histotechnologist for a 13-week assignment in the Histology Lab. The technologist will perform routine and specialized histologic procedures, ensuring accurate specimen preparation and high-quality slide production.

Details : Unit : Histology Lab

Experience : Minimum of 2 years within specialty required

Certifications :

ASCP certification (required)

Systems : Cerner

Responsibilities :

Receive and accession surgical specimens

Process tissue, embed, cut, and stain slides

Collaborate with pathology, cytology, and IHC staff

Maintain laboratory quality and safety standards

Requirements : ASCP certification

Strong knowledge of histologic techniques and lab safety

Experience with Cerner and hospital-based histology labs preferred
