Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Cath Lab position requiring a current MT or compact RN license and a minimum of 1 year of specialty experience.

Responsibilities

Work in a hospital-based Cardiac Cath Lab setting

Day shift, 10-hour shifts from 7 : 30 AM to 6 : 00 PM, five days per week

Care for cardiac patients undergoing catheterization procedures

Epic EMR system is used for charting

Floating to other departments may be required based on business needs

On-call responsibilities may apply during scheduled shifts

Perform independent and delegated nursing functions for cardiac catheterization patients

Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care throughout procedures

Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes

Adhere to organizational and regulatory documentation standards

Compliance with drug screening and background check process is required prior to start

First time travelers may be considered

Requirements

Active MT or compact RN license must be in hand prior to consideration

Associate degree in nursing (ASN) from an accredited nursing school required

Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required and must not expire prior to start

Minimum 1 year of recent experience in Cath Lab nursing required

EPIC charting experience preferred
