Quinn Company, your local Caterpillar store, is hiring a Systems & Network Admin in City of Industry, California. Quinn Company is a Caterpillar dealership founded in 1919. Responsibilities
- Provide system administration support for computers, servers, racks of equipment; configure and manage WAN / LAN interfaces.
- Support web development, testing, system integration, installation scripts, and other duties to support systems and network infrastructure.
- Monitor application processes to ensure high availability and accuracy.
- Deploy and maintain network equipment firmware; design and configure network systems to meet organizational needs.
- Monitor network performance, troubleshoot issues, implement security measures to protect data and maintain network integrity.
- Perform production operation support including log reviews, backup / recovery procedures and periodic maintenance.
- Diagnose and resolve a wide range of networking problems to minimize downtime.
- Oversee configuration management for controlled software rollouts with back-out procedures.
- Complete advanced solution design including network segmentation and physical infrastructure to meet business objectives.
- Participate in Change Management processes to ensure product standardization and adherence to policies.
- Document and maintain standard operating procedures and best practices.
- Collaborate with IT Management, IT Development, Accenture Support and other vendors to resolve customer-impacting incidents on time.
- Oversee network-related projects in office and hosting environments; install, maintain, and troubleshoot routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, VPN appliances and data center environments.
- Conduct network system audits and recommend hardware and component upgrades as needed; participate in disaster recovery planning and testing.
- Work rotating off-hours and weekend support as needed to maintain system availability.
- Support applications, particularly DBS, by reviewing error logs and escalating when necessary.
- Perform other related duties as required.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university with 5 years of hands-on experience with network and server administration in an IT environment of 50+ servers; or equivalent combination of education and experience OR Two-year degree with certifications plus 8 years of experience in a professional IT environment of 50+ servers.

Starting wage for the Systems & Network Administration will depend on experience and education. $105,000 to $115,000 annual salary.
