Overview
This role leads an international Data Cloud sales team across AMER and EMEA. The SVP will shape the direction of Salesforce’s data platform, drive revenue growth, and build high‑performing sales organizations.
Location
This role can be based in any major hub in AMER or EMEA and does not require relocation.
Summary
Salesforce seeks an inspiring and transformative SVP of Sales to lead Data Cloud sales. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in data platforms, analytics, and cloud technologies, along with a proven track record of revenue growth and building resilient sales teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and lead the vision for Data Cloud sales; drive exceptional performance across the specialist team.
- Partner with functions such as Sales, Account Management, Marketing, Finance, Employee Success and Recruiting to maximize resources and influence product development.
- Own the long‑term growth strategy for Data Cloud and identify new opportunities within industry verticals and strategic partnerships.
- Build and develop a high‑performing, diverse, and inclusive sales team; oversee recruitment, coaching, and performance management.
Required Qualifications
Expertise in data platforms, cloud technologies, and data analytics with strong communication skills.Proven leadership of third‑ or fourth‑line strategic sales teams at national or global levels, exceeding revenue targets.Experience recruiting, developing, and retaining high‑performing teams.Ability to drive organizational transformation, cultural change, and continuous improvement in high‑growth environments.Deep experience managing relationships in matrixed organizations and collaborating across business units.Strong operational and analytical skills; passion for data‑driven decision making.Degree or equivalent relevant experience required.Leadership Characteristics
