Job Details – Illinois ER RN Travel Assignment

Location : Galesburg, IL 61401 (Illinois nursing jobs)

Setting : Emergency Room (ER), Level II Trauma Center

Assignment Type : Travel Registered Nurse Contract

Start Date : December 8, 2025

End Date : March 9, 2026

Duration : 13 weeks

Guaranteed Hours : 36 hours per week

Shift : 12-hour shifts, 3 : 00 PM – 3 : 00 AM

Schedule : Every other weekend and every other holiday required

Charting System : Epic EMR

Qualifications – Emergency Room RN Jobs

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Illinois or proof of application in process

Minimum 1 year of recent Emergency Room RN experience

Current BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA)

Experience with Epic EMR strongly preferred

Ability to work every other weekend and every other holiday

Must pass a comprehensive drug screen (drug-free campus)

Key Responsibilities – ER RN Travel Nursing

Deliver high-quality, compassionate patient care to all Emergency Severity Index (ESI) levels in a busy ER setting

Collaborate with physicians, mid-level providers, and interdisciplinary healthcare team members

Respond to trauma and critical care situations in 11 ER rooms, including 2 trauma rooms and 3 fast-track bays

Perform assessments, administer medications, and document care accurately using Epic EMR

Participate in department orientation and ongoing clinical training

Comply with hospital policies, including dress code (any color scrubs welcome)

Support a safe, efficient environment by assisting with codes and rapid response as needed
