Overview

Our client is seeking a Billing Operations Analyst to play a critical role in ensuring the efficiency and accuracy of core utility billing functions. This is a fantastic opportunity for an analytical professional to leverage their expertise in utility systems and data management to drive performance reporting and support key IT initiatives. You will be the nexus between operational performance and technology, transforming complex data into actionable insights for both internal stakeholders and external partners. Your work will directly impact operational excellence and customer satisfaction.

The primary scope of this role involves the full lifecycle of operational reporting, managing large datasets for in-depth analysis, and providing subject matter expertise on key utility IT projects, specifically within billing systems. You will also be a primary point of contact for troubleshooting and resolving critical operational and IT issues.

Key responsibilities include :

  • Develop, organize, and present operational reports for both internal and external use, including operational, performance, and financial reporting.
  • Manage large data sets used for in-depth analysis and reporting.
  • Participate in Billing IT projects by gathering criteria, creating and approving test conditions, and assisting with Change Management activities.
  • Troubleshoot operational and IT issues and coordinate with internal departments to resolve.
