Position : Pest Control Technician

Reports To : Supervisor / Division Manager

Position Summary

The Pest Control Technician is responsible for providing safe, effective, and professional pest management services to residential, commercial, agricultural, and municipal clients. This role involves identifying pest activity, applying control products, operating specialized equipment, and ensuring compliance with company standards, safety regulations, and applicable state / federal laws. The technician will also assist across other service divisions—including lawn care, tree / shrub care, weed control, and equipment maintenance—as needed to support the company’s operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform pest control applications (interior and exterior) for insects and other nuisance pests.
• Inspect properties to identify pest activity, entry points, and environmental conditions contributing to infestations.
• Mix, load, and apply products in accordance with label instructions, company policy, and regulatory requirements.
• Operate and maintain spray trucks, backpack sprayers, foggers, and other application equipment.
• Educate customers on pest prevention strategies and service programs.
• Complete accurate service records, invoices, and compliance documentation.
• Follow all company safety protocols, including PPE use, spill prevention, and vehicle operation standards.
