Senior Manager Retail Marketing & Renewable Fuels

Basic Function

HF Sinclair in Dallas, TX is seeking a Marketing Director to develop strategies for entering the wholesale / retail marketplace. The role involves complex analysis related to branding, managing the corporate renewable fuels program, and devising strategies to minimize environmental impact.

Essential Job Duties / Responsibilities :

• Initiate and oversee distributor, retail, and corporate sales projects for economic benefit.
• Analyze marketplace trends and key developments in distributor, retail, and corporate sectors.
• Assess regulatory environments concerning RFS, PTC, and LCFS programs.
• Develop and implement strategies to increase profitability in targeted markets.
• Provide strategic recommendations to upper management.
• Lead key project development.
• Conduct financial feasibility studies, market research, and planning to evaluate opportunities.
• Prepare business proposals.
• Engage with consumers through sales programs aligned with strategies.
• Negotiate contracts, letters of intent, and MOUs.
• Establish and maintain industry relationships.
• Collaborate with marketing, refining, and other departments to optimize sales and logistics.
• Negotiate terms to optimize existing infrastructure.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by supervisors.

Experience :

Minimum of 15 years in the industry; renewable fuels experience preferred.

Education :

Bachelor’s degree in business or related field required; Master’s (MBA) preferred.

Required Skills :

Expertise in product marketing, RFS, LCFS programs, refinery operations knowledge, project analysis, communication skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office, and professional demeanor. Industry specialization is a plus.

Supervisory Responsibilities :

Supervise two renewable energy staff members.

Work Conditions :

Office-based with up to 40% travel; work environment includes refinery and warehouse settings.
