Engineering Coordinator

Overview

Provides administrative support to the engineering team in data entry and the part number set-up process.

Responsibilities

Job Responsibilities

• Collaborates with internal teams to create new items from customer quotes.
• Works with engineering and quality team on any deviation requests.
• Maintains documents in Docuware and ERP system.
• Updates New Product Tracking spreadsheet.
• Creates and maintains folders for drawings and customer part numbers.
• Prepares documents for APQP and PPAP.
• Creates Development Job Orders, tracks, adjusts dates and close.
• Trained to be back up for Laser Programmer.
• Reviews quote package and works with Engineering for integration to production.
• Collaborates with production supervisors to identify training needs and map out training plans for production employees.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

• Detail-orientated with a high level of accuracy in data entry and documentation.
• Ability to work in fast-paced, deadline driven environment.
• Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Ability to navigate multiple computer programs.
• Solid written and verbal communication skills.
• Comprehensive experience with Microsoft office products and other software associated with assigned work.
• Basic understanding of manufacturing processes.

Educational Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
• Technical Associates Degree preferred.

Experience Requirements

• Prior experience in the manufacturing industry preferred.
