Job description$15,000.00 sign on bonus Employee referral bonus program eligible $10,000.00 Retirement Paid Time Off License fee reimbursement and CME. Relocation assistance available. Health Group is an eligible site for the WA State and Federal loan repayment programs Rural, critical-access hospital located in scenic Goldendale, Washington only two hours from Portland along the breathtaking Columbia River Gorge. Offers emergency and acute inpatient care and a full scope of ancillary services including Diagnostic Imaging, Laboratory, Respiratory Therapy, PT / OT, Pain Management and Hospice. Employs nearly 300 staff Goldendale, population 3,500, is nestled among the rolling Simcoe Hills with gorgeous views of Mt. Hood and Mt. Adams. Hiking, biking, fishing, hunting, skiing, kayaking, and windsurfing are world-class with the Columbia River and untouched wilderness just minutes away. Locals enjoy the cultural offerings of Hood River and Portland, as well as the dozens of wineries that dot the landscape throughout the Columbia River Gorge. Each of the four seasons are prominent with beautiful wildflowers in the Spring and fiery orange shades in the Fall. Whether youre raising children, raising animals, raising a garden, or just looking to get out of the big city, our providers come to Goldendale to enjoy a slower pace of life and take advantage of the rich benefits of country living. At least one (1) year recent full time experience providing direct patient care in an outpatient or acute care medical setting.
Job Description
Family Medicine opening - Goldendale, WA Located on the border of Washington and Oregon - 100m to Tri-Cities, 120m to Portland Position Details
- Full-time, permanent
- Provide primary care coverage for four days
- Patient volume is 13-17 / day
- No call / OB
- Join 4 primary care providers and 4 APPs.
- The clinic also offers Express Care, Pain Management, Behavioral Health, Dental, Optometry and Diabetes services.
- General Surgery and Orthopedics available.
- Podiatry, Cardiology, Dermatology and Pulmonology specialists are regularly available as visiting physicians through Specialty Clinic.
- Each FM provider has dedicated support staff including an MA and virtual scribe.
- Leadership structure in the clinic consists of a Medical Director (Physician), Clinic Director, Clinic Support Staff Supervisor (RN) and Office Support Staff Supervisor.
- The EMR is Meditech Expanse and providers are supported by a Clinical Informatics RN.
