Role Description

The role will be responsible for managing social media accounts, developing content strategies, coordinating UGC creators, optimizing social media presence (SMO), and creating engaging content. This hybrid role is based in Birmingham, AL, allowing some work from home. This is a 3 month contract in-person contract with opportunity to extend to a full-time remote role in 2026.

Qualifications

• Social Media Marketing and Social Media Optimization (SMO) skills
• Communication and Writing skills
• Experience in developing content and monitoring trends
• Strong organizational and project management skills
• Comfortable with fast pace high volume content work
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Experience in fundraising or with nonprofit organizations is a plus
• Must be able to commute twice a week to Birmingham
