Description

Nuclear Medicine Technologist Position

If you're passionate about providing exceptional patient care and possess the skills to perform Nuclear Medicine examinations for both diagnostic and therapeutic purposes, then we want you on our team! As a Nuclear Medicine Technologist, you will work under the guidance of a physician to prepare patients, administer prescribed doses of radioactive and non-radioactive pharmaceuticals, and perform essential calculations and data manipulations according to established protocols.

Your role will also include ensuring the proper ordering and preparation of radioactive materials, calibrating equipment, conducting quality control, monitoring patients during procedures, and fulfilling additional responsibilities as assigned.

Required Qualifications :

  • Education to meet certification, license, or registration requirements.
  • Oregon Nuclear Medicine Technologist certification upon hire or Oregon Nuclear Medicine Technologist Temporary certification upon hire.
  • Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association upon hire.
  • National Registered Technologist certification in Nuclear Medicine Technology within 180 days of hire, or National Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist from the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board within 180 days of hire.

Preferred Qualifications :

  • At least 2 years of clinical experience as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist.
