About Trove Home Care

Trove Home Care provides compassionate, one-on-one, non-medical home care and companionship for seniors and individuals with special needs. We are committed to delivering the gold standard in premium home care across Charlottesville, Richmond, Williamsburg, and surrounding communities.

We are currently seeking a dedicated overnight caregiver to join our team in Charlottesville, VA and surrounding areas : Crozet, Palmyra, Ruckersville, Scottsville and more! If you're a night owl, a natural nurturer, or someone looking for additional nighttime hours in a calm environment this role is for you.

What You'll Do

Overnight caregivers provide supervision, companionship, and personal care support to clients in their homes during the evening and overnight hours. Many clients are sleeping for part or most of the shift, but may require :

  • Assistance with evening and morning routines
  • Transfers or mobility support during the night
  • Medication reminders
  • Light housekeeping or laundry
  • Quiet companionship or supervision for peace of mind

If you're a CNA or a PCA with proper training, you may also provide hands-on personal care , such as :

  • Dressing, grooming, and personal hygiene
  • Feeding assistance
  • Ambulation and transferring
  • Bathing and toileting support
  • Incontinence care

    • What We're Looking For

  • CNA, PCA, or HHA certification preferred
  • Shift availability typically ranging from 8pm – 8am or 9pm – 9am
  • Must be comfortable working overnight and providing care during quiet hours
  • At least 6 months of caregiving experience (professional or personal)
  • Active driver's license and valid car insurance
  • Strong communication skills and a team-first attitude
  • Ability to follow care plans and document accurately
  • Must pass background check and reference screening
