Agile Mission Systems (AMS) at GA-ASI in San Diego, CA is a growing center of excellence seeking high performing technical contributors and future leaders. This candidate will lead, support strategic objectives, stitch together systems of systems, develop customer facing relationships & networks, and produce mission system capability solutions that meet end users / customer's requirements and CONOPs.

Project Engineers lead multi-disciplinary teams, innovate, design, integrate, test, qualify, and rapidly field cutting-edge technologies, sensors, and payload solutions into Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS).

The Payload Integration group addresses challenging problems by developing, integrating, fielding, supporting, and advancing mature industry technologies into payload solutions for GA-ASI platforms. These payloads include Multi-Mode Radars, EO / IR systems, Advanced IRST, Electronic Warfare systems, Multi-INT platforms, Countermeasures, Communications, and Tactical Datalinks, delivering cutting-edge solutions to our customers.

The team is seeking a Project Engineer to lead the technical roadmap and execution of a communications intelligence system. The ideal candidate will possess strong operational and / or design experience in UHF and VHF communication systems, such as tactical radio networks, line-of-sight (LOS) communications, and mobile communication platforms, as well as expertise in radar technologies including Active Electronically Scanned (AESA) radars, Synthetic Aperture Radars (SAR), Maritime Radars, and Signature Aperture Radars. This combination of communication systems and radar technology experience will enable the candidate to drive mission success by ensuring seamless integration, optimized performance, and innovative solutions tailored to complex operational environments.
