- 1+ Years\' Law Enforcement Experience OR 2+ Years\' Security Supervisor / Manager Experience OR 3+ Years.
- 3-5+ Years\' Security Experience. Customer Service Experience skills and technology proficiency needed.
- Must be able to be stationary or mobile for long periods of time in all elements.

Allied Universal is hiring a Custom Protection Officer (CPO) Flex Officer. The CPO Flex Officer will conduct armed and / or unarmed foot and / or vehicle patrol (interior and / or exterior). Additional duties include control access and egress; monitor CCTV and alarm systems; compose reports; deter criminal activity and misconduct. The officer may be called upon to work irregular shifts with little to no advance notice.
Responsibilities
Perform security patrols of designated areas on foot or in vehicleWatch for irregular or unusual conditions that may create security concerns or safety hazardsSound alarms or call police or fire department in case of fire or presence of unauthorized personsWarn violators of rule infractions, such as loitering, smoking, or carrying forbidden articlesPermit authorized persons to enter property and monitor entrances and exitsObserve departing personnel to protect against theft of company property and ensure authorized removal of property within client requirementsInvestigate and prepare reports on accidents, incidents, and suspicious activities; maintain written logs as required by the postAid customers, employees, and visitors in a courteous and professional mannerMake emergency notifications as necessary pursuant to site Post OrdersProvide productivity and cost-reduction recommendations to managementMake recommendations for physical security surveys and post ordersQualifications (must have)
Must possess a high school diploma or equivalentMust possess one or more of the following
Service in Military Occupational Specialty related to law enforcement, security (e.g., Military Police, Elite Military Forces, combat arms) or any support role in a Combat ZoneGraduate of a Certified Public Safety Academy (military or civilian) or verified work experience in law enforcement, adult corrections, or firefighter fieldBachelor’s degree in law enforcement or criminal justice related studiesA minimum of 8+ years of service in any military branchAssociate’s degree (or 60 credits) or higher in law enforcement or criminal justice with current or prior active military serviceBe at least 18 years of age, or higher if required by the state (21 years, if armed)Licensing requirements are subject to state / local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employmentA valid driver’s license required for driving positions onlyAbility to operate radio or telephone equipment and / or console monitorsDemonstrated ability to interact cordially and communicate with the publicEffective oral and written communication, problem solving, active listeningAbility to assess and evaluate situations quickly and identify critical issuesAbility to compile, sort, and interpret data; research and investigate; write clearly and accuratelyTeamwork and attention to detailPreferred Qualifications (nice to have)
