Located in Johnson City, Tennessee, East Tennessee State University (ETSU) Dining Services provides comprehensive food service operations that support a vibrant and growing campus community of more than 14,000 students, faculty, and staff. Our program includes a state-of-the-art residential dining hall serving thousands of meals daily, multiple retail dining venues, featuring national brands such as Starbucks, Chick-fil-A, Dunkin' Donuts, and many more, a robust catering department supporting university events, athletics, and community engagements, and concession operations at athletic and special event venues. What You'll Do :

• Recruit and onboard frontline hires utilizing onboarding and payroll systems
• Possess knowledge of state and federal HR laws
• Maintain active and terminated employee files
• Coordinate and conduct required monthly training
• Possess excellent customer service skills for phone conversations and email responses
• Possess strong time management and organizational skills
• Work well independently and as part of a team
• Understand and respect sensitive and confidential information
• Have excellent computer skills with proficient knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook as well as the ability to learn additional computer programs as needed
• Complete special projects based on business needs regarding human resources data and analysis
• Demonstrate the ability to manage competing priorities and meet time demands
