Description :
The information technology lead for the Lakeland, Florida facility is responsible for this brand new 376,000 square foot facility that is slated to open during the first quarter of 2025. This facility is state of the art with two deep racking, automation and a 4-day power back up! This role is responsible for helping the facility with the start up for this location, but also for supporting the organization as whole with building out the Blue Yonder WMS System at all 7 of their location which also includes : Lockhart & Denton in Texas; Colton in California; Clackamas, Oregon; Clearfield, Utah; Ormond Beach, Florida.
Responsibilities will include but are not limited to :
- Managing all functions related to the Warehouse Management System to include : Rolling out new WMS Systems at all the current locations & training the management team on the new program and installing WMS at new locations and training management team on the intricacies of the system.
- Support the ongoing implementation of Blue Yonder WMS in 2 new greenfield sites, plus future site implementations.
- Support day to day operations of the WMS System to ensure it deliveries in the areas of : inventory management, shipping information and customer order information for employee order selection
- Budgeting for the WMS upgrades for all (7) locations and in 2026 the (8th) location in NJ
- Creating training manuals to roll out to all locations to ensure appropriate day to day functionality of the WMS System so the facilities Ibe self sufficient
Requirements :
Minimum of five (5) years of professional experience in an IT Role supporting WMS Program. Candidate should be subject matter expert in Blue Yonder.Candidate must have previous experience with a full life cycle WMS implementation.Ability to communicate across multiple levels in the organization and within the facility.Strong knowledge of e commerce, warehouse automation, and cold storage facilities.Warehouse automation and 3PL experience in a fast-paced startup operation a plus.Ability to work with cross functional teams.Ability to meet competing demands, problem solve and create a project plan to meet the needs of a fast-growing warehouse.Position must be filled on-site in either Lakeland, FL, or Lockhart, TX location.
