Job descriptionMinimum of 3 consecutive years of proven experience working as a licensed Armed Security Officer. Must be a Citizen of the United States of America. Must be of good moral character with no arrest or convictions for DUI, Domestic Violence, Drug or Narcotics charges, Theft, or any other dishonest acts. Must be able to pass a comprehensive background check, which includes a credit check, employment history, criminal history and educational history which will be performed on all candidates. Must NOT have been dishonorably discharged from the U.S. military service. Must NOT be restricted from possessing or qualifying with any required firearm or weapon. Must possess a valid state driver license and Armed security guard’s license, which must be presented during the interview. Must have an excellent uniform presentation, along with exceptional verbal and written communication skills. Must be proficient in firearms knowledge and the ability to successfully qualify on a handgun, rifle, shotgun, handcuffs, chemical agent, baton, taser, and other additional weapons. Must possess the ability to follow rules and guidelines in great detail. Must be in good physical condition and able to pass a quarterly P.A.T. (Physical Agility Test) and possess the appropriate endurance.
