Position Summary :

Apple Valley Waste is seeking a reliable and safety-focused Curotto Driver to operate our automated front-load waste collection vehicles equipped with the Curotto-Can system. In this role, you will be responsible for the safe, efficient, and courteous collection of residential or commercial solid waste, ensuring compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations as well as company policies.

Key Responsibilities :

• Operate a front-load refuse truck equipped with a Curotto automated collection system .
• Safely navigate assigned routes, collecting solid waste or recyclables from customers in a timely and professional manner.
• Inspect vehicle before and after each shift; complete vehicle condition reports and report any mechanical issues promptly.
• Use in-cab technology and route sheets to follow scheduled routes and document route completion.
• Ensure proper loading and dumping of waste, avoiding spills and adhering to safety procedures.
• Interact courteously with customers and the general public, reporting any service issues or blocked containers.
• Comply with all DOT regulations, company safety policies, and environmental rules.
• Perform basic maintenance such as checking fluid levels, tire pressure, and keeping the vehicle clean.
• Assist in other duties as assigned by management, including container delivery, vehicle cleanup, and occasional manual collection.
