Job descriptionWork in the Interventional Radiology and Cath Lab units of an acute care hospital Handles urgent and emergent interventional procedures including Code Stroke, STEMI, trauma, and IR body cases Day shifts are 4x10s from 7 : 00 to 17 : 30 with on-call, holiday, and every 3rd weekend requirements Floating required between IR and Cath Lab Epic EMR is used; experience with Epic is preferred Responsibilities include responding to emergent interventional procedures and recovery from sedation / anesthesia Team-oriented environment in a Level I trauma center and Magnet-designated teaching hospital Holiday shifts and on-call duties are required RTO cannot be requested during orientation week and should be kept to a minimum Previous UW staff must have a separation of at least 18 months before returning as a traveler Scrubs are provided on the unit or may wear any solid color scrubs First time travelers considered if all requirements are met Local candidates are accepted at the same rates Active WA or Compact RN license required Minimum 2 years of recent ED or ICU experience required BLS and ACLS certifications required COVID vaccination and booster mandatory Epic charting experience preferred but not required Experience in trauma and teaching hospital settings preferred No pending licenses accepted High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts
