Overview

Designer - Sport role at Horizontal Talent

Join our dynamic team as a Designer, where you'll create stunning sports and swimwear collections that captivate and inspire. Your creativity and technical expertise will drive brand-right designs, ensuring they align with our strategic vision.

Responsibilities

  • Develop commercially viable product designs for sports and swimwear collections.
  • Present innovative designs that reflect the brand's strategy and consumer trends.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to bring designs from concept to completion.
  • Create detailed tech packs to ensure accurate prototypes.
  • Maintain updated linesheets and ensure all design information is precise.
  • Inspire and manage junior design talent, fostering their growth and creativity.

Skills

  • Proficiency in Illustrator and Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Strong sketching skills with the ability to adapt designs based on feedback.
  • Technical knowledge in construction and fabric selection.
  • Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

    • Preferred Skills

  • Experience with Centric software is advantageous.
  • Knowledge of bra construction for sports, swim, or intimates.
  • Creative problem-solving skills with a flexible approach.
  • Experience in retail or fashion design environments.
