Job Description
ITS provides operational support to state agencies on a 24x7x365 basis; some positions may be required to provide this critical service at any time.
Duties
- Facilitates and participates in meetings with Business Solutions staff, users and management;
- Develops detailed project plans collaboratively with ITS staff, agency staff and end users.
- Provides project reporting to PMO;
- Oversees the execution of applications, ensuring applications function accurately and are available to our internal and external business customers;
- Provides support, as needed, for incident & issue resolution ensuring that incidents and defects are addressed promptly based on priority;
- Manages staff using the department's tooling for the creation of letters and forms utilizing EXSTREAM software;
- Manages changes and incidents with the Opentext Vendor as part of EXSTREAM modernization;
- Ensures that staff members are properly trained in all functions of the team's toolsets;
- Manages multiple work assignments, projects, enhancement requests, and day-to-day issue resolution;
- Perform full range of supervisory responsibilities.
Qualifications
Open to NYS employees with one year of permanent competitive service as an Information Technology Specialist 4 Systems Programming, SG25 OR in a position at the SG23 level or higher deemed administrative under Section 52.6 of Civil Service Law OR in a title eligible for transfer under Section 70.1 of Civil Service Law.

Some positions may require fingerprinting. Some positions may require up to 25% travel and / or lifting up to 50 lbs.

The base pay range for this position is $96,336.00 / yr - $121,413.00 / yr.
