Director Of Logistics

The Director Of Logistics will oversee all logistics operations, including purchasing, warehousing, shipping / receiving, and the tool room. The role ensures the timely and accurate delivery of materials and products, while overseeing supply chain operations, including vendor management and compliance. This position requires strong leadership to guide the logistics team and drive process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.

Responsibilities :

• Oversee all logistics operations, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of materials and products.
• Manage supply chain operations, including vendor management and compliance with vendor programs.
• Lead and manage the logistics team, including warehouse manager, tool room manager, purchasing manager, transportation, fleet, and facilities staff.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
• Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure and improve logistics performance.
• Develop and manage the logistics budget, monitoring expenses, and implementing cost-saving measures.
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies, implementing and enforcing safety protocols.
• Source, select, and utilize technology to improve logistics operations, implementing and managing logistics software and systems.
• Develop and implement logistics strategies to support company goals and collaborate with other departments to align operations with overall business strategy.
• Conduct weekly 1 : 1 meetings with direct reports and bi-weekly meetings with the manufacturing director.
• Research and implement tools and software to improve service delivery and efficiency.
• Review and approve timecards, productivity reports, and time off requests.

Work Environment :

The position is based onsite at the Everett Facility, with a hybrid work model being implemented. The role requires a presence onsite initially, with the potential for hybrid work arrangements in the future.

Job Type & Location :

This is a permanent position based out of Lynnwood, Washington.

Pay and Benefits :

The pay range for this position is $140000.00 - $165000.00 / yr.
