Closing Manager

A company is looking for a Closing Manager to supervise and coordinate all aspects of loan closings.

Key Responsibilities

Assist Branch Manager with supervision of loan closing associates to ensure high morale and excellent customer service

Verify locks, insurance coverage, and review title commitments to ensure loans close only after underwriting contingencies are cleared

Coordinate closings with lenders, escrow, and branch managers while maintaining a system to track closing dates and requirements

Required Qualifications

Minimum 3 to 5 years of funding and / or processing experience, including conventional and government loans

Strong computer background with experience in mortgage software and proficiency in Excel and Word

Knowledge of preliminary title report endorsements and potential issues

Experience in managing loan documents and post-closing audits

Ability to create a customer service-oriented environment in the funding department
