What you’ll do

As Giga’s Head of Operations, you will be the driving force behind execution across our OEM, product, and data center businesses. This role is for a builder and problem solver, someone who thrives in high-growth environments and knows how to turn strategy into action. From managing supply chains and customer support escalations, to leading complex data center buildouts, you’ll ensure that Giga delivers with speed, quality, and precision. You’ll work cross-functionally with engineering, manufacturing, and commercial teams while leading a high-performing operations organization. If you are an expert executor with a bias for action and the ability to put out fires without losing sight of the big picture, this role is for you.

Where you’ll work

This role will be based in our San Francisco or Houston offices. You must be willing to work in the office full-time, outside of our bi-weekly WFH Fridays.

Responsibilities

Own end-to-end operations across Giga’s businesses, from product manufacturing to logistics, customer support and data center execution.

Lead and scale operations teams spanning supply chain, logistics, field services, and project execution.

Ensure on-time delivery of products and successful execution of modular data center buildouts.

Build and continuously improve operational processes that scale with the company’s growth.

Troubleshoot and solve critical operational challenges in real time, ensuring minimal disruption to customers.

Partner with engineering and product teams to align production and delivery schedules with customer needs.

Manage vendor and contractor relationships to ensure cost, quality, and schedule adherence.

Track and report operational KPIs, driving accountability and continuous improvement.

Serve as a key member of the leadership team, translating company strategy into actionable operational plans.

Requirements

8+ years of experience in operations or strategic project execution leadership roles.

Proven track record of building and scaling operations in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.

Strong background in logistics, manufacturing, or large-scale infrastructure deployment.

Exceptional problem-solving and crisis management skills; able to “firefight” while maintaining focus on long-term priorities.

Excellent leadership and people management skills with experience leading cross-functional teams.

Strong negotiation and vendor management experience.

Data-driven decision maker with strong financial and analytical acumen.

Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, supply chain, or a related field.

Bonus points

Experience in data center construction or modular infrastructure deployments.

Background in electrical equipment, energy, utilities, or industrial supply chains.

Global operations experience with international logistics and supplier management.

MBA or advanced degree in a relevant field.
